Reiki

Psychotherapeutic Reiki is an approach with interventions that bring systematic attention to the relationship between the body and the mind, that utilize Reiki energy treatments to work directly on blockages in the human energy field in order to modify conditioning and release held trauma energy.

EMDR Therapy in Glendale, Peoria, & Phoenix Arizona

EMDR short for eye movement desensitization and reprocessing is one method I use in treating trauma. EMDR has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. I have had the most success in my work and have seen the most transformation in clients using EMDR. 

 

The treatment works by utilizing the natural healing power of the brain using bilateral stimulation of eye movements. This process allows the brain to reprocess the trauma memories, moving them from a fight or flight part of your brain to the cognitive rational side where you are able to make sense of and organize the experiences, change the negative limiting thoughts that were created from the trauma, and create meaning. 

 

The highly charged and overwhelming emotions are able to be desensitized to allow the trauma triggers to be effectively resolved. EMDR is a powerful treatment to achieve that deeper healing you desire and create lasting change.

First Steps

After an initial consultation, we will schedule an intake assessment to discover more clearly what your challenges and goals are and start gaining momentum on learning tools to help you feel better and more in control. 

Ongoing Support

Consistent weekly to biweekly sessions will ensure more momentum and success with the process. You have the choice of meeting in your home, via telehealth or an in office location.
